The Leapmotor B10 is a compact electric SUV from a Chinese brand partly owned by Stellantis. UK sales use Stellantis dealers, with orders opening in October 2025 at a list price of £31,495, while Leapmotor offers it at £29,995 with its own £1,500 discount. Almost 90% of advertised B10s are new or ex-demo, making the key question whether nearly new prices save enough against new. This guide examines that comparison, warranty cover, owner reports and checks before buying. You will find a print-out checklist at the end.
- Price the new car first: new B10s were listed around £30,000; the small number of used examples asked around £26,000.
- One version: all UK B10s share the same 67.1 kWh battery, 215hp rear-wheel drive and complete equipment specification.
- Warranty: 4 years / 60,000 miles on the car and 8 years / 100,000 miles on the battery.
- Get an insurance quote first: owners of the larger Leapmotor C10 describe refusals from some insurers.
What you get
Every UK B10 uses a 67.1 kWh LFP battery (65 kWh usable), a 215hp rear motor and offers 270 miles WLTP. Rapid charging reaches up to 168 kW (around 26–28 minutes for 10–80%), with 11 kW AC charging and a heat pump. Standard equipment includes a panoramic roof, 360-degree camera, plus heated and ventilated front seats. Euro NCAP awarded five stars in 2025. Complete specifications are on the B10 page.
Recalls
The government recall list recorded no Leapmotor recalls during October 2026. Still check the individual car using GOV.UK’s recall checker and ask whether its software updates are complete.
Warranty
Leapmotor covers the car for 4 years or 60,000 miles and the battery for 8 years or 100,000 miles:
- Registered 2025: car covered to 2029; battery to 2033.
- Registered 2026: car covered to 2030; battery to 2034.
Realistic range
Our estimates for typical cars of each age use the battery-ageing model applied throughout the rest of EVcarsguide:
| Car | Summer | Year-round | Winter |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 B10 | 225 miles | 198 miles | 167 miles |
| 2026 B10 | 229 miles | 202 miles | 170 miles |
These figures assume the battery has aged like a typical car’s. Gentle driving beats them, while fast motorway driving falls short.

What owners report
The B10 is still new, with only a small number of UK owner threads and reviews available. These are the points they share:
- Strong value: spacious, comfortable and generously equipped for the money, with strong efficiency and no faults reported during the first year.
- Screen-heavy: nearly everything uses the touchscreen. Most driver aids can be disabled through a shortcut button, but emergency lane keeping returns each journey and indicators do not self-cancel.
- Missing bits: no rear wiper, front parking sensors, rear interior lighting or floor mats.
- Software and support: some app problems and sluggish phone-key unlocking. One owner required a dealer repair for a vehicle-to-load fault. A new brand can cost more to insure, and dealer coverage is patchy.

What to pay
Used B10 listings are still very scarce, making these figures only a rough guide:
| Cars | Share of adverts | Median asking | Typical range | Median mileage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 B10 | 71% | £25,995 | £25,396–£26,411 | 1,607 |
Used or new? Advertised new and ex-demo B10 prices were around £30,000, leaving a nearly new saving of roughly £4,000, for a car only a few months into warranty cover. The B10 does not qualify for the government’s Electric Car Grant; the £1,500 reduction is Leapmotor’s own discount and may change. Treat these as asking prices rather than valuations.
Questions to ask the seller
- Was this Leapmotor a demonstrator or pre-registered car, and can the seller document its previous use?
- Can the seller provide service records and show which software version is installed on this Leapmotor?
- How will the seller transfer the Leapmotor app account to you after purchase?
- Are both keys and the charging cable included?
- Who will handle warranty work, and where is the nearest Leapmotor service point?
