How we track charging prices
We read the public pay-as-you-go (ad-hoc) tariffs published on each charging network's own website and refresh them roughly weekly. The headline rate is the price a driver pays with a contactless card or the network's app, with no monthly subscription. Many networks offer cheaper rates to members or on off-peak windows, shown where available.
Rapid covers chargers rated 50kW and above (rapid and ultra-rapid). Prices vary by location, connector and time of day, so treat these as a guide rather than a quote. Figures are verified against multiple independent references before publishing.
